Real linen is stiff, lacks elasticity, wrinkles easily, and can lose its shape quickly when tied into a bow. What we do at Kurdelecim is a kind of textile illusion. We process 100% polyester yarns on our specialized looms and through texturizing processes into such a form that the resulting product provides the raw naturalness of linen visually and tactually, while maintaining the industrial strength of polyester.

The production process of this series is much more complex than standard weaving. Thanks to special effects given to the yarns, a rough, matte, and heterogeneous structure is created on the surface, as if woven on a handloom.
